I’m sitting here in my apartment with the windows open and the nice summer breeze cooling down the room. Summer is a great time of the year and I wish it was summer all year. Thinking about church and what a great night we had tonight. I love the fact that church is all year, every Sunday. I couldn’t imagine a life without church. Hope to see you on Sunday!

It’s summer!!! Probably around 30 degrees outside, I’m loving it! my sister and I are on our way to the beach… I’ve been on holidays for about a week and a half now and I’ve never craved church as much as I have been during the last week. Of course it’s not the building that I miss, that’s not the church. I miss the people, the awesome worship, the great speakers and just the whole Passion atmosphere, my family. I’ve been to some other churches while being away from Stockholm and I know I’m being biased but I honestly think I’m a part of the best church in Sweden. I couldn’t wait to get the report on Sunday night – it was the same as every week, people are getting saved, our friends are coming to church, the volunteer team keeps growing and people decide to join us on the journey! I can hardly get my head around it, it’s so amazing, God is amazing! My life is so much richer because of what I’m a part of.
Well, the sun, the beach and the coconut oil is calling my name… ☺ But hey, even if some of us are on holidays – let’s keep praying for church and come back pumped up ready to go!

There’s a baby boom in Church. I like the fact that some people in our leadership team has taken the concept of church growth to a personal level 
After being away from my daughter Selina Jo for almost 2 weeks I really enjoyed our date yesterday. We went to a Zoo called Skansen. She walked around all day with big eyes and a big smile. She loved it. And I really, really love seeing her happy! All the animals, the rides, the ice cream made her think that we had arrived in heaven. I don’t do things like this because that’s what a dad is supposed to do, I do it because there is nothing I want do more that put a smile on my daughters face, she has an amazing smile. I do it because I love her, because I want to, because it makes my day to see her happy. Because she’s my princess. She don’t have to deserve it, talk me into it or beg, I do it because she is my daughter. I’ve made her… oh yeah.
It makes me sad that so many christians has such a twisted view of God, our Father. If we could get into our heads that God loves us because He has made us. That makes us His sons and daughters. He takes great pleasure in blessings us and see a smile on our face. Not because we’ve worked for it or deserve it but because He is our Daddy!
Love Him, get to know Him, enjoy Him today. That’s what He wants to do with you today!
I just heard this amazing statement from a new friend of mine. His name is Dino Rizzo, the lead pastor of a church called Healing Place in Barton Rouge in the US. This is what he said: "We’re reaching the world by serving one". How cool, a crowd is made up by a whole lot of individual lives! Here’s their website.

Woke up early this morning. I don’t know if it’s a sign of me getting older but I’m really starting to enjoy mornings. Today I have been reflecting over our Church and the progress the first 6 months. I am so amazed and humbled over everything God is doing, we have more than doubled in growth, several people has made a desicion to follow Christ every Sunday this year, people are flourishing as they are discovering their gifts and uses them to build Church and Gods Kingdom. I am so moved about how people seems to care about oneanother, to see people discovering Christ and start a journey as a new creation is really cool.
I know this sounds like we have no challanges or mountains to climb in Passion Church but that is definatly not true. We have so much learning to do and so much figuering out to do. We definatly have alot more vision than resources and there is almost 2 million people in the greater Stockholm area and most of them do not have a personal relationship with Christ. We have so much work left to do. It’s a really good thing that there are more churches in town that share the same heart.
But even though there is so much left to do, I still think we have a reason to celebrate and be thankful to God for all He has done so far. Every changed life counts! This fall is going to be amazing, I believe we are standing on the edge of a breakthrough. And I desperatly want to be a part of seeing His Kingdom come in Stockholm, to se His Church shine as the beutiful bride it’s supposed to be.
Last Sunday I spoke on the topic "Can a city be changed?". On Sunday we will do part two of this message. You don’t want to miss it, even if you couldn’t make it last Sunday!
By the way, I’m starting to believe that a city can be changed…
The Best Is Yet To Come!
So, I just got of the plane here in Stockholm and Church starts in a few hours. Even though I’ve been flying almost 30 hours without much sleep I am so pumped about today. I’m starting a new theme in Church called "Can a city be changed". I really believe that is is a word for us in Passion Church.
Today is gonna be awesome, there’s nothing better than seeing God change people’s lives. Every Sunday counts, after all there’s only 52 in a year. I think today has the potential to be the best service we have ever had so far!

I’m sitting in Hong Kong with Dan on our way home to Stockholm. We’re reflecting on the Conference we have been to and how it has impacted our lives.
I am so full of vision I’m about to explode! Can’t wait to be home in Church tomorrow.

I still at Hillsong Conference in Sydney. I really, really feel like my love and hunger for Jesus has grown so much deeper this week. I have been so impacted by all the worship and all the teaching. I am more determand than ever to keep on loving Jesus and building His Church.
I feel like God has given me a word and a vision for the second half of 2008 for Passion Church. I’m gonna be talking about that on Sunday. I land just a few hour before Church but I will be in good shape because I really feel like I have a message for us.
We will try to upload some new videos here in a few hours if the technology and the extremly slow internet connection at the hotel let’s us.
