Prayer Meeting.

Last night we had a prayer meeting with all the Connect group leaders and Team leaders. I love having prayer meetings! One myth is that when you’re a young creative Church that cares about how you present things on Sundays and tries to present things in a way that people can relate to. And that when you care about the design and communication that all this should cause things like prayer, hunger to see miracles like salvation, healing and restoration to be less important.

Nothing could be more wrong when it comes to Passion Church. I just think that it all has it’s place. Without the Holy Spirit, the power of God in peoples lives we have nothing.

On Sunday I think we will enter into a new level of Gods presence in our Church. Please don’t miss it. This Sunday will be remembered forever!

Love you, Church!

Sunday night high… and it’s monday morning!

If you want to catch me tired and a little grumpy you should see me on some Monday mornings. I guess when I have given my best on a Sunday night it can take a few hours on a Monday to get my paste back up. But not today…

I am still on a high from last night. 10 people found Christ and made a decision to follow Him last night. Church was awesome. I am so PROUD of all our teams. Who give up their Sundays to serve in Gods house. Look what you have done… 10 people found Christ and you played a huge part in that. I love you guys!

Blue Eyes Soul was off the hook last night! If you wondered, now you know. The boys are the real deal. I’m very proud of them!

This is a crazy week. It’s the end of a season, next Sunday the beginning of a new season. I’m gonna drop a bomb next Sunday. If you’re not sure if you’re gonna be in Church next Sunday let me say this: You do want to be there, you don’t want to miss it. I’ve said it before but this time it’s for real! It’s gonna be historic not just for Passion Church bur for Scandinavia!

I Love My Church!

Change?

Friday is usually my study and preparation day for the Sunday. Today I’m trying to put together some thoughts together about this Sunday’s message. It’s gonna be about change, listen to this quote: “Change happens! You either create change OR it happens to you… and usually when it’s happens to you… it’s too late!”

Life is full of change, just when we think we’re in control things all of a sudden change. So you have to decide if you’re gonna be ruled by it or decide to use change to move ahead in life. The Bible say’s that we should change to become more like Christ. This is the best way to stay on top of life.

I can’t wait to give you some tools and biblical principals to handle change and make it work for not against you…

See you in Church on Sunday!

I’m Back

So where have I been? The answer is right here.
Why have I not been blogging for a while? The answer is, for 2 reason.

The first reason is that I haven’t felt like I’ve had something important to say and just wanted a break. The second reason is that we as a family has been through a rough couple of weeks with our 3 months old daughter going through a open heart surgery. But now she is recovering and are doing great (thank you all who has been praying) and I really feel inspired to pick up the blog.

This blog is about serving God and build the local Church in general and Passion Church more specific (with a few jokes now and then), not about having a go at pastoring the whole world. And I am so pumped about what God has done so far and all that is ahead.

This year has started in an amazing way, we have seen so many people make decisions to start a personal relationship with Christ and join Church. We are in the midst of a theme called “Let’s get it started”, and God and all of you in Church has really started of in a fantastic way so far this year. I am more excited and full of faith and vision than ever, I am so convinced that this will be a historic year for our Church. (If you come to Vision Sunday you will see what I mean).

Just remember that Gods plan to touch people with His unconditional love is to use you. You are the Church, His hands and feet. I love doing this journey called life together with you…

The Best Is Yet To Come! See you in Church on Sunday!
